BOTTLE ROCKET NC16
Advisory: Some Coarse LanguageDirector: Wes Anderson
Year: 1996
Duration: 91Language: English with no subtitles

BOTTLE ROCKET lays out an early blueprint of the Anderson style that we have all come admire. The impeccable use of colour and music, symmetrical visuals, and the the quirky and flawed characters. Co-written with frequent collaborator Owen Wilson who also stars in it with brother Luke, BOTTLE ROCKET launched the career of one of the most important and iconic filmmakers in the business today.

Anthony (Luke Wilson) has just been released from a mental hospital, only to find his wacky friend Dignan (Owen Wilson) determined to begin an outrageous crime spree. After recruiting their neighboor, Bob (Robert Musgrave), the team embarks on a road trip in search of Dignan's previous boss, Mr. Henry (James Caan). But the more they learn, the more they realize that they do not know the first thing about crime.
