French Animated Classics

Following the success of our earlier French Animated Cult Classics this year, we’ve followed up with yet another spate of wondrous animated classics that you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

From the visually stunning Henri Rousseau-esque animated fables of the Michel Ocelot to wider-ranging issues surrounding race and identity from the Korean-born immigrant Jung Henin, our latest edition of animated cult classics dig deeper into the power of storytelling through this boundless creative medium.

Made possible with the support of French Association For Animation Films, Fête Du Cinema D’animation, Institut Francais and The Embassy Of France
