Join us for a screening of 5 Broken Cameras followed by a post-show conversation with Walid Jumblatt Abdullah, author of 'Why Palestine?: Reflections From Singapore'.
In 2005, Palestinian farmer, Emad Burnet records his village's resistance to the encroachment of Israeli settlements, in Bil'in, a West Bank village affected by the Israeli West Bank barrier. This documentary is part home movie, part resistance journal, part memorial and part impossible collaboration.
Part of ticket proceeds will be donated to Mercy Relief's "Hope for Gaza, West Bank & Palestine Refugee Camps" fundraising campaign. Pleaase refer to the main page for more details.
