Post Screening Talk: Waking Up Dreaming: David Lynch Remembered.

To wrap up our retrospective of the films of David Lynch, two super fans - writer-critic Ben Slater and film director Quark Henares - will discuss and explore his extraordinary art-life. How Lynch went from experimental artist to one of the most famous film directors in the world, re-inventing TV along the way. We’ll dig into his themes and obsessions, the twists and turns of his career, his legacy and influence across media, as well as mechanical robins, damn fine coffee and the eye of the duck. It’s also a conversation! Feel free to share your own thoughts and Lynchian experiences. After a month with the master of cinematic surrealism, we hope to shed light into the dark enigma of Lynch for newbies and hardcore devotees alike.

Where is The Lie?, his latest directorial effort, is currently touring the film festival circuit.
