Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, has been fighting his community's mass expulsion by the Israeli occupation since childhood. Basel documents the gradual erasure of Masafer Yatta, as soldiers destroy the homes of families - the largest single act of forced transfer ever carried out in the occupied West Bank.
He crosses paths with Yuval, an Israeli journalist who joins his struggle, and for over half a decade they fight against the expulsion while growing closer. Their complex bond is haunted by the extreme inequality between them: Basel, living under a brutal military occupation, and Yuval, unrestricted and free.
This film, by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young activists, was co-created during the darkest times in the region, as an act of creative resistance and a search for a path towards equality and justice.

About the Palestinian Scholarship Initiative
As Palestine faces unimaginable devastation and Palestinian educational opportunities dwindle under occupation, we stand with a vision for the future. With some universities in Palestine damaged or destroyed, countless bright minds are left with limited access to learning.
We, a group of Singaporean citizens, believe in the power of education to rebuild lives and shape a better tomorrow. This is a self-organised, ground-up initiative to support Palestinians whose access to education has been jeopardised. By supporting the Palestinian Scholarship Initiative (PSI), you can help provide life-changing opportunities for Palestinian students to pursue full tertiary education in Singapore.
PSI is not a registered Charity. More information on their fund raising campaign can be found here.
